Santo La Ferrita founded the bakery in 1947. He built his business on a foundation of hands-on, day-to-day involvement, a quality product, and personal service. Now, a third generation of owners and operators continues the tradition, and has launched Sunrise Bakery into a new level of business performance, sales, and volume. The company's continuing emphasis upon superior technology, research, marketing, national branding, and the utilization of computer science, however, in no way has diminished its commitment to quality, personal service and Old World craftsmanship.
